CANTON — Six members of a prominent North Georgia gang were indicted by a grand jury in Cherokee County Superior Court earlier this week following the stabbing of a Canton man in March, according to court documents.
William Jeff Goodman, Heather Grace Rodgers, Houston Halton Garner III, Michael Lloyd Gravely, Corey James Ray and Frankie Cain Gilley were all indicted on one count each of Violation of the Street Gang Terrorism and Pre-vention Act.
The group is being treated in court as parties to a crime in which a Canton man was stabbed and beaten before they reportedly broke into his car on March 8, according to court documents. Each member faces felony charges for “being associated with Ghost Face Gangsters, a criminal street gang.”
The entire party is accused of beating the man with their hands and feet. However, Goodman and Rodgers were specifically charged for stabbing the victim with a knife, while Garner was charged with battery for beating the man “with a belt and buckle.”
After the assault, Rodgers broke into the victim’s pickup truck to steal a white bandana, court documents state.
