A woman walked out of the gym Aug. 9 to find her car's passenger window had been smashed and her purse, including cash and credit cards, had been taken, according to a Woodstock police report.

The victim reported to police that she was working out at Lifetime Fitness when someone told the front desk her vehicle had been broken into. She said the car had been locked, and she had not touched anything on the vehicle.

A purse that had been in the front passenger floorboard was reported as the only thing that had been taken. The purse contained a wallet with the victim's drivers license, two credit cards, $200 in cash, a $400 check, a phone charger and prescription glasses worth approximately $400.

The woman reported one card was used at a Walmart in Augusta for $571.80 but was declined, and the other was used at the Walmart on Highway 92 and Trickum for $504.94 but was also declined, and that she canceled all cards and the check immediately.
