Rome swimmers squeak out
The hope of any coach is for their team to perform its best when set against the best competition, and that’s what Rome coach Joey Powers got Friday.
When the top swimmers from Rome High and Darlington enter the pool today, they’ll apply the training from this season and all their experience to take on the best from around the state.
The Calhoun High swimming and diving team is sending a school record number of qualifiers to the GHSA State Swimming and Diving Championships this weekend at Georgia Tech. The action will get going on Friday and wrap up on Saturday.
