The Gordon Lee Lady Trojans remained at No. 2 in the Class A public school basketball power rankings for this week.

Gordon Lee has 12.12 points, trailing only Randolph-Clay (12.78) in the standings. Turner County (10.62) is third, followed by Claxton (10.39) and Treutlen (10.38). Trion is 27th this week with 5.79 points.

In the private school rankings, Southwest Atlanta Christian, the top seed for the Region 6-A tournament, is first with 15.33 points, followed by Holy Innocents’ (13.37), Darlington (12.80), George Walton Academy (12.02), and Calvary Day (11.94).

The Gordon Lee boys are still on the outside of the state playoffs in 18th place (8.62), just 0.16 points behind 16th place Terrell County. Trion is 22nd overall (7.90).

The top five public school teams this week include Wilkinson County (14.79), Mitchell County (13.30), Wilcox County (12.92), Seminole County (11.79), and Dooly County (11.56).

In the private school standings, North Cobb Christian (15.30) is first, followed by W.D. Mohammed (13.05), Greenforest Christian (12.94), Excel Christian (12.92), and Calvary Day (12.59).

Darlington (6.37) sits in 26th place overall.
