Sonoraville senior Madison Fowler (seated, second from left) signed a scholarship  on Monday to be a manager for the track and field program at Brenau University (Gainesville, Ga.).

Fowler said of the signing: "I really didn't expect it, but coach (McDaris) really bragged on me to the Brenau coaches. I'm really appreciative of this opportunity. I visited there, and I liked the surroundings. It's a small school, and their coach and staff was really nice."

Also attending the signing were: Sonoraville assistant track coach Sara Little (front row, from left), mother Amanda Fowler, Sonoraville head track coach Greg McDaris, Sonoraville assistant principal Mark Waters (back row, from left), Sonoraville athletic director Brent Mashburn and brother Brock Fowler.
