The Rome Wolves soccer team produced a shut out at home by downing Cedartown, 6-0.

Alex Rogers led the Wolves by scoring three goals. Elijah Donner, Selvin Cornejo and Kelvin Canno had one goal apiece, and Canno had one assist.

Also adding in one assist apiece were Stewart Hoy, Luis Ochoa, Hampton Cauthen and Sam Moses.

The Wolves shined both offensively and defensively by outshooting the Bulldogs 18-6.

Keepers Jimmy Franklin and William Everhart combined in the net for the shut out.

Rome coach Chris Cochran noted Justin Van Riper, Jimmy Nolasco, Mark Stevens and Luis Luna as outstanding players in the win.

The victory lifts Rome to 3-1, and the Wolves will begin region play at home on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. when they host Lithia Springs.
