The LaFayette High School tennis teams got back on track in Trenton on Wednesday afternoon as they claimed a pair of 4-1 wins at Dade County in the regular season finale.

The Lady Ramblers picked up two points in singles. Madeline Ensley defeated Madison Lacey, 8-1, at No. 1 singles, and Jessica McDaniel earned an 8-2 decision over Natalie Wallin.

Th No. 1 doubles team of Tori Hunter and Abbey Hannah shut out Lori Clark and Brooklyn Poston, 8-0, while Brieanna Maggard and Saucey Dalton edged Majorie Bonner and Emily Clark, 8-6.

Dade County's lone point came at No. 3 singles where Hailey Gass defeated Reanna Huskey, 8-1.

The Lady Ramblers finished the regular season with a 9-3 overall record.

LaFayette's boys got a singles win by A.J. Lowrance as he beat Cole Birchfield, 8-3, at No. 2 singles. Clayton Underwood won at No. 3 singles with a 8-2 win over Payton Brannom.

The No. 1 team of Daniel Witt and Chaed Clements outlasted Adam Gann and Jordan O'Dell, 8-5, while Noah Holland and Zan Thompson beat Hunter Phillips and Austin Forrester, 8-6.

Austin Cravatt beat Jamey Huskey at No. 1 singles, 8-4, for the Wolverines' lone point.

Two exhibition doubles matches also went the way of the Ramblers. Cass and Will Benson won 8-2, while Wesley Gilbreath and Bryson Witt won 6-0.

The Ramblers will take an 8-4 record into the Region 7-AAAA tournament in Dalton next week.
