The LaFayette Ramblers cracked the win column in a big way Monday night, sweeping a non-region doubleheader at Gordon Central by scores of 10-6 and 15-5.
In the opening game, Jacob Pendley (1-0) picked up the win on the hill with Micah Wyatt racked up his first save of the season. Wyatt also went 3 for 4 at the plate with a pair of triples, while McKenzie Kelehear had a 3 for 3 afternoon.
The nightcap saw freshman J.T. Snider strike out 10 Warrior hitters as he won his first game of the season.
Wyatt had two more doubles as part of his three hits. Josh Manning was 4 for 4, while Kelehear went 2 for 3. Mason Thompson had two hits in two plate appearances, while Andy Boss was 2 for 4.
LaFayette (2-2) is scheduled to play at Gordon Lee on Wednesday with the varsity game beginning at 5 p.m.
