The Pepperell Dragons got a sweep of Gordon Central on the road Thursday, putting them at 1-0 to start the season.

Zane Camp fought back from being down 5-1 in his first set to take the No. 3 singles match 7-5, 6-0, while Wheeler Mathis and Parker Gumienny went the distance at No. 2 doubles to win in a tiebreaker, 6-3, 4-6, 8-6.

Donovan Rochester won the No. 1 singles match 6-0, 6-1, while Jordan Purser won 6-1, 6-2 at No. 2 singles. The No. 1 doubles team of Tyler Whelchel and Chandler Ortwein won 6-2, 6-2.

The Dragons host RockĀ­mart on Tuesday at Georgia Highlands College.
