Gordon Central senior Haley Reynolds (front row, center) signed a full track scholarship on Tuesday with Mississippi State (Starkville, Miss.).
Reynolds said of the signing: "I'm very excited. I didn't know if it would happen, but I worked really hard for it. I'm thankful for my dad pushing me to do my best and for the support of my family, friends and coaches. I really felt at home (at Mississippi State). The coach there told me I could really be something, more than just a track athlete."
Reynolds also had offers from Virginia, Auburn and Georgia Southern, among others.
