The Warriors bounced back from a tough loss to North Murray in the region semifinals on Friday night by downing Ringgold, 68-59, in a close third-place game at the Region 5-AAA Tournament on Saturday at Sonoraville.

The game was tied 53-53 midway through the fourth quarter before Gordon Central (17-9) finished the game on a 15-6 run.

Taurus Carson led the way on Saturday with 18 points. Tyshaun Clemmons added 12, and Roderic King had 10.
