The Darlington swim team fell to Cass but downed Calhoun, 197-196-150, at a meet at the Huffman Center for their own Senior Night.

Although Darlington came out on top the last time this trio met, the Tigers fell just a point shy of the repeat on Thursday evening.

The Darlington girls did, however, trump the two visiting teams 111-91-75, while Cass dominated the boys group, putting the Tigers in second and the Yellow Jackets in third, 106-85-75.

Lauren Chin, Katie Hurley, Kristie Hicks and Sarah Beth Cline saw success in the 200 medley relay in which they took first with a time of 2:12.69.

The Lady Tigers also dominated the 50 free as Hicks (27.71) and Hurley (29.17) took first and second place respectively.

In the 100 backstroke, Will Robertson claimed first for the boys with a time of 1:08.29, while Chin finished first in the girls group with a time of 1:21.28.

Christian Baker followed Chin in the girls 100 backstroke with a time of 1:27.29.

Another individual first-place for the boys came from Dillon Weeks in the 100 breast stroke with a time of 1:18.12.

Weeks also placed second in the 200 IM with a time of 2:27.94.

Sandro Labzhanidze took a second place finish in both the boys 200 free with a time of 2:32.18 and in the boys 500 free with a time of 6:50.43.

Lindsey Vaughn took second in the 500 free for the girls with a time of 8:45.96, while Chin’s 100 free time of 1:09.20 earned another second for the girls.

Both the Darlington boys and girls finished second in the 200 free relay.

The boys were Weeks, Wil Taylor, Will Robertson and Miles Bearden, who swam the event in 1:50.49.

Hicks, Baker, Hurley and Chin swam the event in 1:58.92 to earn second for the girls.

The Tigers also dominated the diving portion of the meet.

Taylor won for the boys while Baker and Cline won first and second place respectively for the girls.

Senior swimmers Ryan Haley, Hicks, Bearden, Weeks (boys team captain) and Chin (girls team captain) were all honored for Senior Night.

The Tigers travel to Pace Academy on Saturday for their last regular season meet.
