Lassiter 9, Darlington 0

The Tigers fell to a Lassiter team that is ranked No. 3 in the country in some polls.

A strong performance from keeper Sidney Wright held Lassiter to three goals in the first half.

Wright had 20 saves on the night.

Darlington coach Byron Dacy also noted strong play from Tanner Berry and Kwabe Kumi.

“It was a learning experience for the boys,” said Dacy. “They got to be on the field with a top team.”

Darlington was missing three of it’s starters due to injury.

The Tigers (3-4-1) will play at Mt. Paran on Thursday for a region contest.
