Cedartown High School senior Kierstan Cox signed a letter of intent on Wednesday to continue her fast-pitch softball career at Southern Union State Community College.

Cox, who belted six home runs and had a .902 OPS, was a member of the Rome News-Tribune All-Area first team last season.

Cox will be playing with Southern Union in the Alabama Community College Conference. Southern Union plays teams like Jefferson State, Shelton State, and Chattahoochee Valley.
