The Cedartown Lady Bulldogs picked up their second straight win on Thursday.

Playing another Region 7-AAAA, sub-region ‘A’ on the road, the Lady Bulldogs once again won by one run. This time the win came over Cass by the final score of 3-2.

“This was a big game for us,” head coach Jessica Sanders said. “The girls came out with some big hits early and kept battling throughout the game. I am proud of the way they played and we are looking forward to carrying that into the Adairsville tournament this weekend.”

Sydney Blackmon and Tia Anderson each went 2-for-3 for Cedartown. Teyana Pryor finished 2-for-4 while Cassidy Davis, Kristen Harris and Ava Tillman had one hit each.

On the mound, Tillman struck out seven Lady Colonels.
