The Coosa Lady Eagles shut out Armuchee on Monday, 5-0, and the Eagles came away with a 3-2 victory at the Rome Tennis Center.

At No. 1 singles Tori Overby defeated Brooke Dellis 0-6, 6-4, 10-6; at No. 2 singles Cheyenne Lambert defeated Belle Tanner 6-0, 6-3; and at No. 3 singles Victoria Thomaston beat Madison Bartlett 6-1, 6-4.

At No. 1 doubles Rajohnae Hames and Keegan Justice defeated Madison Hurley and Taylor Harris 6-0, 6-0; and at No. 2 doubles Alexis Holmes and Brinley Smith topped Haley Mathis and Carson Ragland 6-2, 6-1.

For the boys, at No. 1 singles Coosa’s Sam Corbin defeated Riley Purdy 6-1, 6-0; at No. 2 singles Joseph Smyth of Coosa downed Luke Purdy 6-3, 6-2; and Armuchee’s Eli Brock won against Zac Mitchell 6-0, 6-1 at No. 3 singles.

At No. 1 doubles Levi Johnson and Dawson Winddat of Armuchee defeated Bryce Ray and Jay Tumlin 7-6, 7-5; and at No. 2 doubles Coosa’s Jordan Broom and Jaden Cave beat Jackson House and Trent Weaver 8-6, 6-1.
