The Gordon Lee Trojans' golf team made some more school history on Monday.
The Navy-and-White finished with a team score of 333 and won the program's first state title at the Class A public school tournament at the Double Oaks Golf Club in Commerce.
Lanier Guest had an 81 for the Trojans, who got an 82 from Devin Edwards and 85's from Seth Lewis and Blake Bailey to round out the team score.
Lincoln County finished second, while Trion's John Rollins was the individual low medalist with a 71. Rollins was fourth at the Class A state tournament last year.
Mika Clark and Will Jacks also played for the Trojans, but their scores were not available as of press time.
The win was the fifth team state title for the school for the 2012-2013 school year. The girls' softball and basketball teams also won championships earlier in the year, while the wrestling team was crowned champions in the Class A State Duals and the Class A State Traditional.
Clark and Jacks, who also were starters on the wrestling team, made some history themselves on Monday, becoming the first Gordon Lee athletes to be a part of three state championship teams in a single school year.
Monday's title actually marked the fourth state championship for Jacks in the last five months as the junior also won an individual Class A state wrestling championship at 145 pounds.
The Lady Trojans got a 97 from Ashley McDonald and a 107 from Abbey Bohannon as Gordon Lee (204) finished third in the Class A girls' public school state tournament, held at the Highland Walk Golf Course at Victoria Bryant in Royston.
Schley County finished with a 201 to eke out the state crown just two shots ahead of Trion (203) and three ahead of Gordon Lee.
No other details were available as of press time.
