The Warriors (9-14), led by head coach Jerry Jones, defeated Coahulla Creek, 73-57, in Wednesday's game advance to this evenings match up with cross-county rival Ringgold. The Tigers (10-12) have defeated the Red-and-White in their two previous meetings this year (59-50 on Dec. 14 and 54-50 and Jan. 5).
Jones said the Warriors have anticipated getting to play Ringgold again after two close ballgames.
"We knew we had to win against Coahulla Creek to get to Ringgold," he said. "We didn't want to overlook them, but we wanted to see Ringgold again."
The winner of this evening's game will advance to the state playoffs.
