The Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe Warriors and Lady Warriors picked up non-region victories at Ridgeland on Saturday.
In the opener, LFO (12-10) led 27-20 at halftime and held off the Lady Panthers, 57-50. Courtney Crawford had a game-high 24 points for the Lady Warriors, while Aubrey Clemons added 18 points.
Destiny Irvin had 15 points for Ridgeland (2-20), while Tiffany Wimpy and Kaelyn Bryd finished with 10 points each.
In the nightcap, LFO trailed 29-26 at intermission, led 45-41 after three quarters, and outscored Ridgeland, 29-25, in a wild fourth quarter to collect a 74-66 and improve to 8-12 on the season.
LFO hit six three-pointers and went 22-of-28 from the free throw line. Alec Rattanaxay had 26 points in the win. Daniel Parrish finished with 16 and Coe Cranford added 10.
Ridgeland (8-14) got 18 points from Gannon Harris, 16 from Jalen Smith, and 14 from Keyshawn Fortson. They hit five three-pointers as a team and went 11-of-14 from the charity stripe.
LFO’s teams will travel to Sonoraville on Monday to make-up games that were postponed on Friday. Ridgeland will close out the regular season with a pair of games at Northwest Whitfield.
