The guests of the 2014 Hot Stove Gathering have been announced.

The event will be held at the Forum in downtown Rome on Monday, Jan. 27 from 5:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. Fans can meet the new field staff, former Rome Braves players, and Atlanta Braves player development staff. New Rome manager Jonathan Schuerholz along with pitching coach Gabe Luckert, hitting coach Bobby Moore, and trainer Kyle Damschroder will be on hand for the event.

Former Atlanta and Rome pitcher Chuck James along with Rome Braves alumni Wes Timmons (2003), Jon Mark Owings (2008), Shae Simmons (2013), and Robert Hefflinger (2012) will be among the invited guests.

Fans will also have the opportunity to meet Atlanta Braves Director of Minor League Operations Ronnie Richardson, minor league training staff coordinator Mike Graus, Atlanta Braves scout Brian Bridges, former Atlanta Braves third base coach and current manager of the Gwinnett Braves Brian Snitker, and Rome Braves General Manager Michael Dunn.

“We are thrilled to host the annual Rome Braves Hot Stove Gathering,” says Rome General Manager Michael Dunn.  “It is a perfect time to gather and talk with current and former Braves and kick off the countdown to First Pitch.”

Fans can enjoy an “all you can eat” gourmet ballpark fare. There will be a question and answer opportunity and autograph session.

Adult general admission tickets are $15, children 12 and under are $10 each.  Special advanced VIP tickets are available for $40 that include a meet and greet along with heavy hors d’oeuvres, and beer and wine. These are limited to the first 50 fans. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the stadium ticket office or at the door the night of the event.  The event benefits the Miracle Field of Rome.

The Atlanta Braves play an exhibition game at State Mutual Stadium on Saturday, March 29 versus the Braves Future Stars. The Rome Braves open the season on April 3 in Hagerstown with the home opener on April 10 at State Mutual Stadium against the Savannah Sand Gnats
