PCSO nabs suspects in latest warrant round-up

The Polk County Sheriff's Office brought in more than a doze offenders during a recent warrant round-up conducted with the help of other local departments, according to Chief Deputy Jonathan Blackmon. 

He said the operation, conducted on Nov. 15, was completed with the help of Cedartown and Rockmart police, along with the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force with the United States Marshal Service.

A total of 18 people were taken into custody, listed by the Sheriff's Office as follows: 

Robert Benson  - Parole Violation

Robert Walker  -  probation violation

Tizadrian Wilson  - probation violation and possession of firearm

Jeff Goddard  - probation violation and giving false name

Randy Bradford  - probation violation and simple battery

Connor Ridley  - criminal trespassing

Gary Thomas – misdemeanor warrant for Superior Court

Anthony Ore  - misdemeanor warrant for theft by taking 

Steven Whitley  - aggravated battery

Randy Beavers  -  probation violation

Nick Mason – simple battery

William Chastain  -  battery

Ronald Blackmon  - second degree burglary

Joseph Dickert  - aggravated assault

Joseph Chubb  -  felony warrant for Superior Court

Daniel lee Jarrell  - child support

Tammy Knight  -  Floyd County change of criminal trespassing

Austin Smith  -  misdemeanor warrant for Superior Court

U.S. Marshals arrest three after lengthy investigation

According to Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver, Sheriffâ's Office investigators, Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms Agents, and Deputy U.S. Marshals, executed warrants on three individuals from the Ellisville community on Thursday, Jan. 19, 2017.
