Tickets will soon go on sale for the upcoming Polk County Chamber of Commerce's Boots and Pearls event being held in December.
A limited amount of tickets are will be on sale for the event being held at Hightower Fall's Coosa Room on Dec. 10, to start at 6 p.m.
Along with being all about dressing up in cowboy finery, the event also will enjoy evening entertainment from McPherson Street, a local band that includes District Attorney Jack Browning.
The Boots and Pearls theme will also be reflected in the food, said Chamber executive director Tamaka Hudson.
She said dinner will be more traditional fare representing the boots side of the night, while attendees can expect desserts to be more elegant like a pearl.
A live and silent auction for a number of items donated to the Chamber will also be part of the event, with former Aragon mayor Ken Suffridge acting as emcee and auctioneer for the night.
