The Rockmart Yellow Jackets played Gordon Central Tuesday evening, and knocked it out of the park with a 12-0 win.
The game was called to an end by mercy rule at the fifth inning.
The Jackets only gave up a single hit all game and had a couple scoreless innings by Luke Queen and Andrew Garrett.
Jake Brown, who went 3 for 3, and Dylan Bailey put up multiple hits for the game, but overall the Jackets hit well collectively as a team.
"Our pitching has been really outstanding this year," said coach Kenny Yanzetich after the Tuesday win. "In high school baseball if you can throw the ball across the plate and play well defense then the score will follow and that is how you win ball games."
The Jackets continue on with a 13-7 record for the season overall, and are in first place in the region with a 9-0 record.
Rockmart is back in action on Thursday hosting Claxton, before taking a trip on Friday to Dade County.
