Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 844 Pleasant Hill Road, Rockmart, will observe homecoming on Sunday, July 20.

Registration for “Arrow Island” VBS will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 19. Classes will be held from 6:30 to 9 p.m. each night. Commencement will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, July 24.

Valley View Baptist Church in Cedartown will be site of Homecoming on Sunday, July 20.

The morning service begins at 10:30 a.m. with lunch following worship. The afternoon singing will begin at 1:30 p.m. Guest singers will be the South Sisters Trio from McDonough, Georgia. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Valley View will also be holding revival meetings at 7:30 p.m. July 21-26. Guest evangelist will be Brother Jerry Boston and Brother Keith Harper. Special singing will be featured each night.

Rivers of Living Water, located at 513 Goodyear Street in Rockmart, is hosting its fifth annual “Your Best” talent show.

The show will include two categories: young children, ages five to 11, and older kids, ages 12 to 17. The winner of each category will receive a trophy.

Auditions for the event will be at Rivers of Living Water (RLW) from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 19 and Saturday, August 16.

The show will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27 at RLW. Admission is $10. For more information, contact Courtney at 770-689-7838.

A Women’s Conference will be held at Praise Temple Community Outreach Ministries, 230 Marietta Street in Cedartown.

The Rockmart United Methodist men will host their annual pancake breakfast from 7 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, July 19.

Plates will be available for $6 each. The event is planned to coincide with Homespun’s opening activities, which begin at 8 a.m.
