Eddie Wilson, president of SouthCrest Bank’s Community Banking Group, today announced that Linda Burch has been named Vice President and Market Leader, West Georgia Region for SouthCrest Bank. In this capacity, Burch will be responsible for the development and growth of the bank’s operations in Polk County.
“Within the relatively short time that Linda has been with SouthCrest Bank, she has demonstrated a remarkable ability to develop strong customer relationships while overseeing daily operations of one of our busiest branches,” said Wilson. “This promotion will give her further opportunity to expand her influence as she helps grow our operations in Polk County.”
With more than 15 years of experience with local community and regional banks, Burch has served the banking industry in various capacities. In addition to 18 months as branch manager with SouthCrest bank, Burch previously served 10 years with Regions Bank as a branch manager in Brewton, AL. Prior to this, she was a personal banker and investment advisor at United Community Bank, specializing in loan services targeted to help grow personal and business relationships.
Burch holds a bachelor of business administration (BBA) degree in finance from Faulkner University in Montgomery, AL. A native of Cedartown, Burch serves on the Downtown Cedartown Association (DCA), and previously served as recording secretary for the Brewton Kiwanis Club. She is married to retired military Captain Tony Burch, and has three children.
