On Friday, students in Rockmart will be getting out of school early and downtown will be shutting down some streets in the afternoon ahead of the annual 2017 Homecoming game.

Later on in the evening, the school’s choice of a Homecoming Queen will be crowned during a halftime ceremony following a week of festivities at Rockmart High School.

This year’s court includes seniors Cassidy Alea Duke, Allison Lindsey Dunn, Rosalee Kathryne Haney, RaeAnna Jewel Hulsey, Megan Michelle Sims and Conner Lindsay Tant. The junior court includes Jennifer Ann Crawford and Mollie Rebecca Little, sophomores Kinsey Grace Jones and Mary Elizabeth Laltrello, and freshmen Aubrey Ashea Huggins and Gracie Tayler Tant.

This year’s boys on the court include seniors Nicholas Logan Gable, Michael Dennis Gay, Ethan Gregory Gober, Kolton Tucker Holder and Steven Riley Miller. Underclassmen representatives include Juniors, Zoryan Lamar Hendricks and Jesse Ray Taff, sophomores Christopher James Culver and Tyler Chase Rowland and freshmen Mehiji Mandrall Floyd and Stockton Richard Norrod.
