An Aragon woman remained in jail with no bond following a domestic incident that escalated to gunfire that sent bullets into a neighboring home.
Polk County Police officers arrested Tasha Williams Dublin, 41, of 41 Jones Washington Road, Aragon, into custody following the early Saturday morning incident on Nov. 18.
Dublin faces a number of charges after police reported she got into an early morning argument with her boyfriend that was alleged to have become more heated.
The report stated Dublin kicked her boyfriend out, and then as the argument continued and he packed his belongings was alleged to have fired a .380 semi-automatic pistol at his 2008 GMC Acadia, which broke out windows in the truck and then passed through and entered a neighboring home.
The occupants at 49 Jones Washington Road were reported as unharmed by police, but that bullets passed into the bedroom of the adjoining home where gunfire awoke a father and his two-year-old son and forced them to flee to another room.
After police checked on the condition of all involved and found no one hurt, and conducted further interviews, they took Dublin into custody and charged her with two counts of felony aggravated assault, a second and third degree count of cruelty to children each, reckless conduct, possession of a firearm or knife during the commission of or attempt to commit certain felonies, discharging firearm while under influence of alcohol or drugs and criminal damage to property.
Bond hadn't been set yet by the time of this report.
