Committee reports, delegations and more are ahead on the Polk County Commission's agenda for the evening as they set to gather for a 5:15 p.m. meeting at the Polk County Board of Commissioners meeting room.
The meeting will include comments from Robert Sprague about the situation on Lefevers Road and the Grady Road landfill, and Glen Robinson wishing to discuss a proposed agriculture center project.
Additionally, reports from the committees will be submitted, a discussions over Polk County Police's turnover and pay, a Carl Vincent Institute study over county employee pay, funding for the runway extension project and more are expected for the night.
On Tuesday, the County Commission will be back in session at 7 p.m. to vote on several issues, including appointments for boards the county participates in the area, an amendment to re-work the meeting schedule for the county commission, retaining attorneys for potential opioid litigation, and more.
