Early voting for local municipal runoff races began this Monday, Nov. 20 and includes specific days to early vote. Early voting will be held from 8:30 a.m. 5 p.m. at the Gordon County Elections and Voter Registration Office, located in the old BB&T Building at 215 North Wall Street in downtown Calhoun.
Early voting will be held through today, Wednesday, Nov. 22 and due to offices being closed for Thanksgiving, picks back up on Monday, Nov. 27, and will run through Friday, Dec. 1.
Races facing runoff include Calhoun City Council Post 4, where former City Council member Ray Denmon faces former Gordon County Commissioner Alvin Long and Resaca Town Council Post 3 is in a runoff between Michael Austin and Randy Barron.
