ATTALLA - Cherokee County High School quarterback Tyren Dupree accounted for all three touchdowns in the Warriors' 21-7 spring football jamboree victory at Etowah on Thursday.

All three of the Warriors' scores were in the second quarter. The first was a 21-yard scoring pass from Dupree to Julian Latty. Johnathan Chadwick connected on the first of three extra points to give the Warriors a 7-0 lead.

Etowah tied the scrimmage at 7 on a 45-yard touchdown pass, but regained the lead on Dupree's 43-yard touchdown pass to Sidney Perry. The Warriors extended their lead on Dupree's 1-yard touchdown run for the final.

Dupree completed 5-of-7 passes for 87 yards and two scores. He also led the Warrior rushing attack with 89 yards and a touchdown on five carries.

Perry caught two passes for 58 yards and a score. He also ran for 40 yards on four carries.

Riley Russell led the Warrior defense with eight tackles. Caden Hubbard had two sacks and Austin Pruitt had an interception.

The Warriors open the 2017 football season Aug. 25 at Cedartown, Ga.
