LaFayette Food City deli employee arrested for allegedly stealing from employer

A LaFayette woman who was employee at Food City in LaFayette was arrested for stealing $100 from the deli department.

According to LaFayette Police Department reports, 32-year-old Amanda Peaches Bradley was charged with theft by taking. She was transported to the Walker County Jail without incident.

The store manager told police that management suspected her of stealing from the deli on Dec. 30, a crime to which she allegedly confessed.

U.S. Marshals arrest three after lengthy investigation

According to Cherokee County Sheriff Jeff Shaver, Sheriffâ's Office investigators, Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms Agents, and Deputy U.S. Marshals, executed warrants on three individuals from the Ellisville community on Thursday, Jan. 19, 2017.
