The Oakwood Christian Lady Eagles' first appearance in the Georgia Association of Private and Parochial Schools Division I-A state volleyball tournament ended with a loss in the quarterfinals Saturday morning at Dominion Christian in Marietta.

This past Friday, the Oakwood Christian Lady Eagles lost an SCAA conference match to Shenandoah Baptist in four sets. OCA took the opener, 25-13, but dropped the next three by scores of 25-16, 25-20 and 25-15.

The Oakwood Christian Academy Lady Eagles had no trouble in dispatching visiting Lyndon Academy in an GAPPS league match Thursday night in Chickamauga as OCA won in straight sets, 25-15, 25-10 and 25-12.
