Ringgold Tigers

Playing without their starting libero due to a recent injury, the Ringgold Lady Tigers dropped a pair of matches at Calhoun on Tuesday. The losses did not count in the subregion standings.

The host team beat Ringgold, 26-24, 17-25, 15-11.

Ricki Lynn Bickley had 15 kills and 12 digs in defeat, also adding two blocks and an ace. Chloe Hall had 13 digs and four kills, while Zoie Metcalf assisted on 26 points, picked up four kills and added eight digs and three aces.

Also contributing were Lauren Terrell (16 digs, 1 kill, 1 ace), Bethany Thomason (7 digs, 1 kill, 1 ace), Jewel Parham (3 kills, 3 digs) and Jasley Brooks (2 kills).

The final match of the night saw Sonoraville post a 25-19, 25-18 victory.

Bickley had 11 digs, two kills and two bloc. Hall added seven digs, a kill and an ace. Metcalf finished with four assists, three digs, two aces and a kill, while Brooks added three digs, two kills and an ace.

Also getting on the stat sheet was Terrell (2 digs, 2 aces, 1 assist) and Thomason (1 dig, 1 block).

Ringgold (19-15) will head to Model on Thursday for a tri-match, including rematch with Sonoraville, all starting at 5 p.m.
