Ringgold Tigers

Ringgold is now 3-0 in 6-AAA North play after sweeping North Murray and LFO in a pair of matches Tuesday night in Ringgold.

The Lady Tigers (18-12 overall) opened the night with a 25-13, 25-11 win over the Lady Mountaineers.

Zoie Metcalf had 19 assists to go with five aces, four digs and three kills. Ricki Lynn Bickley had a team-high seven kills and added two aces, two blocks and 14 digs. Chloe Hall added four kills, five digs and an ace, while Lauren Terrell finished with four kills, three aces and seven digs.

Other standouts included Bethany Thomason (4 kills, 4 digs, 1 block), Emily Ridley (7 digs) and Jasley Brooks (1 kill, 1 dig).

Ringgold capped the night by powering past LFO, 25-19 and 25-4, as Metcalf had 13 assists, seven aces, five digs and three kills. Bickley added five kills, three aces and eight digs, while Thomason picked up four kills, three blocks, two digs and an ace.

Also getting on the stat sheet were Ridley (6 digs, 1 ace), Hall (3 digs, 2 kills, 1 ace), Brooks (1 kill) and Terrell (2 digs, 1 kill).

Ringgold and LFO will both be in action Thursday as they travel to LaFayette for a tri-match.
