Oakwood Christian Eagles

The Oakwood Christian Academy Lady Eagles moved to 4-3 on Thursday after splitting a pair of league matches.

OCA defeated Knoxville Apostolic, 26-24 and 25-15, as Annika Green scored seven straight service points in a row in the match. Green finished with four kills and two blocks. Mary Ownby also had four kills to go with a dig. Lexie Asher had two kills and two digs, while Lily Green had two kills.

Other contributors included Raleigh Suits (2 digs), Amelia Michael (2 digs, 1 kill), Emilee Teague (1 dig) and Olivia Guest (1 kill).

The Lady Eagles dropped a 25-17, 25-20 to Maryville Apostolic. Annika Green had three blocks and a pair of kills. Lily Green picked up two kills and a dig, while Asher and Guest had one kill apiece.

Also getting on the stat sheet were Ownby (2 digs, 1 kill), Suits (1 kill, 1 dig), Michael (1 dig) and Natalei Raines (1 dig).

Oakwood will host Rhea County Academy on Tuesday, starting at 5:30 p.m. They are scheduled to make the drive to Alabama on Thursday to take on Cleveland Christian and Mountain View Christian in a tri-match.
