The Heritage Lady Generals moved to 2-0 on the young season after holding off Trion at home on Tuesday by a 3-2 count.
Caroline Horsley and Emma Lokey both won in straight sets at No. 1 and No. 2 singles. Horsley beat Abigail Decker, 6-1, 6-2, while Lokey claimed a 6-3, 6-4 win over Cloe Deberry.
Trion would rally with wins at No. 3 singles and No. 1 doubles. Lorin Walraven beat Maleah McAllister, 6-2, 6-1, while the doubles team of Lavine Gentry and Shelby Carlock held on for a 7-6 (8), 6-3 victory over Erin Husley and Katelyn Burns to tie up the match.
However, Heritage's all-freshman No. 2 doubles team of Morgan Phillips and Bailey Christol pulled out the victory, 7-6 (6), 6-3, against Haley Price and Sophie Harwood to clinch the match.
The Generals also moved to 2-0 with a 3-2 win over the Bulldogs.
