LFO suffered a Region 6-AAA sweep at the hands of Sonoraville Tuesday night in Calhoun.

The Lady Warriors (4-5, 1-2) got a goal from Sydnee Brown, but it was not enough to beat the Lady Phoenix as the Red-and-White dropped a 4-1 decision. Deandra Rowe had the assist on the goal, while Joanna Matute collected 13 saves in goal.

In the boys’ match, LFO (0-8, 0-3) trailed only 2-0 at halftime, but the Phoenix would pull away in the second half of the region clash.

The Warriors were once again without several key starters as the injury bug continues to bite hard.

LFO will host Murray County in 6-AAA matches on Thursday, starting at 5 p.m.
