The LFO Lady Warriors had to move its home game with Ridgeland to the turf at Rossville due to unplayable field conditions in Fort Oglethorpe, but found the surface to their liking as they scored a 5-1 win in the non-region match.
Sydnee Brown stayed hot with two more goals for LFO (3-2), while Sydney Moss, Faith Jones and Alyssa Leverrett each had on goal. Chelsey Lindsay assists on two of them, while Moss, Jones and Kaylee Gomez had one apiece.
Rebecca Leggett had 10 saves in goal and Michelle Dunn and Jordan Carver led the way on defense.
Katie Davis had the only goal for the Lady Panthers (0-4) in the 57th minute, which brought the score to 2-1 before LFO put the game away with three goals in the final 20 minutes.
Alyssa Young had 18 saves for Ridgeland, while Katie Carruth and Courtney Durham had shots on goal.
Ridgeland boys 5, LFO 3
Inspired play and three goals in the second half were not enough for the Warriors on Tuesday as they dropped a road decision to the Panthers.
Ridgeland (2-2-1) stormed out to a 5-0 lead at intermission before holding the Warriors off in the second half.
Angel Ojeda had two goals and an assist in the win. Juan Valesquez recorded a goal and an assist. Ruben Livarchuk and Bode Tucker had the other two tallies for the Panthers, while Michael O'Neal assisted on a goal as well.
Israel Galicia, Bryan Castro and Elias Rafael all found the net for LFO (0-5) in the second half, while Zane Carter assisted on all three goals.
Heritage girls 3, Calhoun 1
In Boynton, the Lady Generals moved to 6-0-1 on the season after collecting a home win over Calhoun on Tuesday.
Anna Boley found the back of the net twice, while Brianna Smotherman had the other goal for the Lady Generals. Finley Brisendine and Ansley Peeler picked up assists.
Calhoun boys 3, Heritage 0
The Generals dropped to 1-4 overall with the loss. No further details were provided.
Morris Innovative boys 5, LaFayette 2
