The Ridgeland Panthers battled back from a 1-0 deficit late in the second half to earn a 1-1 tie with Morris Innovative out of Dalton in a home match this past Tuesday.
The Tigers outshot the Panthers, 17-11, and scored their goal in the 35th minute after Ridgeland misplayed a ball deep in their own end.
Ridgeland (1-1-1) turned up the pressure in the second half and was finally rewarded in 77th minute as Rubin Livarchuk fed Angel Ojeda on the equalizer. Jacob Robinson had five saves for the Panthers.
There was no girls' match as Morris Innovative was unable to field a girls' team this season.
Both Ridgeland teams will be in action on Thursday with non-region matches at Model.
