Heritage Generals

Brianna Smotherman had four goals and a pair of assists, while Anna Boley netted a hat trick and two assists and the Heritage Lady Generals picked up an 8-3 victory in a non-region rivalry match at LFO on Tuesday.

Two quick goals in the first three minutes of the match staked Heritage to the early lead. The two teams would exchange goals the rest of the first half and went into the break with the Navy-and-Red owning a 4-2 lead.

Jillian Roberts would pick up a goal and an assist in the win. Alyssa Boley, Austin Brookshire and Finley Brisendine would each record an assist for the winners as they improved to 3-0-1 overall.

Sydnee Brown, Chelsey Lindsay and Sydney Moss found the net for the Lady Warriors (2-2), while Rebecca Leggett had 10 saves in goal.

Heritage boys 3, LFO 1

Ethan Demo found the net twice for the Generals, who picked up their first win of the season (1-2). Eli Darger would record one goal in the victory, while Denis Viars and Josh Graves each had an assist.

Scoring for the Warriors (0-4) was not provided as of press time.

The Lady Generals will host Dalton at 5 p.m. on Thursday and both Heritage squads will entertain North Murray starting at 5:30 on Friday.

LFO will travel to Dade County for a pair of games on Thursday starting at 5 p.m.
