In an undisputed contest, Ridgeland's AFJROTC rifle team shot their highest score of the season with 1,381 points to defeat Grainger AJROTC of Rutledge, Tenn.

Ridgeland (3-2) moved to fifth place in the JROTC Precision Distinguished Division of the Orion National Air Rifle League with their second win in a row.

The Panthers were led by Martin Camlic who shot a 352. The remaining contributing members were Daniel Barrett (345), Zori Champion (345) and Tyler Atchison (339). Also shooting for Ridgeland was Herbert Bradley (323), Michael Hoffman (319), Savannah Carroll (317) and Brandon Wright (282).

Next up for Ridgeland will be a match against Muncie Central MCJROTC from Indiana.

LaFayette's AJROTC took down Cherokee AFJROTC from Canton, Ga., 1,465-1,323 in last week's JROTC Precision Champions Division match of the Orion National Air Rifle League. It marked LaFayette's fourth win in a row.

LaFayette was led by Alyssa Kiser who shot a 379, followed by Emma Sargeant (379), Steven Thompson (356) and Logan Massingill (351). Also shooting for the Ramblers were Andrew Carroll (344), Christopher Franklin (333) and Troy Mussared (331).

The Ramblers' next match will be against Dallastown MCJROTC from Dallastown, Pa.
