The LaFayette High School Army JROTC rifle team traveled to Dalton High School on Saturday and continued to prove themselves after a two-match sweep of the Catamounts.
In the first match, LaFayette scored a season-high in a 1,133-1,102 win.
LaFayette's Alyssa Kiser set a new season and personal-best with a score of 290 (out of 300), including a perfect 100 in the prone shooting position. Emma Sargeant was next with a 289, followed by Logan Massingill with a season-high 281 and Steven Thompson with a 273.
The second match saw Kiser fire a 289 as LaFayette won 1,127-1,106.
Sargeant had a 284, followed by Thompson and Massingill, who each finished with a 277.
LaFayette is now 9-0 and leading Area 10. They will take on Ridgeland on Thursday, Feb. 15 for Senior Night at LHS.
