Saddle Ridge Mustangs

The Saddle Ridge Lady Mustangs moved to 6-3 overall with an impressive 50-21 win at Gordon Lee on Tuesday.

Saddle Ridge led 24-13 at the halftime break before outscoring the Lady Trojans 26-8 in the second half.

LaTyah Barber turned in a 16-point, 13-rebound double-double to go with seven steals. Grace Hamilton dropped in 15 points and grabbed two rebounds, while Mykeria Johnson knocked down three from long range and finished with 13 points, five rebounds and three steals.

Sam Cramer added four points and two steals. Haley Stahl had two points, a rebound and joined Ashlyn Jenkins and Madi Ashley in having solid nights defensively, according to head coach Daniel Scoggins.

Emma Minghini led Gordon Lee (4-5) with seven points, followed by Emoree Rogers and Addison Sturdivant with four each. Ashlyn Schmidt, Marianne Beliveau and Emilie Eldridge each had two points.

In the nightcap, the Trojans led 21-2 after one quarter and never looked back as they improved to 7-2 on the season.

Jake Poindexter had 16 points, followed by Henry Ellis' 14 points and 10 rebounds. Will Carswell added 12 points and Jacob Neal grabbed eight boards.

Chris Bell paced the Mustangs (0-9) with 13 points, followed by Anthony Collins with three and Braeden Holland with two.
