Playoff brackets have been set for the North Georgia Athletic Conference softball and football tournaments.

The softball tournament will begin on Tuesday, Oct. 10. Ringgold will face Chattanooga Valley in a game at Ridgeland High School, while Heritage will travel to Dade County.

The second round will be played on Thursday, Oct. 12. Top-seeded Gordon Lee will host the lowest remaining seed, while second-seeded Trion will host the highest remaining seed.

All games will begin at 5 p.m.

The dates, times and locations for the best-of-three championship series have yet to be determined.

The NGAC football playoffs will also start on Thursday, Oct. 12. East champion Ringgold will host Rossville at 4:30 p.m., while West champion Chattanooga Valley will face Heritage at 5 p.m. at Ridgeland High School.

The championship game will be played on Thursday, Oct. 19, location and time to be determined.
