After a 6-0 home win over Dade County back on Feb. 26, the LaFayette Ramblers made a return trip to Trenton on Monday night and once again blasted the Wolverines, this time by an 8-0 count.
Haidon Pickard netted the first two goals, one on an assist from Branston Branham and the other off the foot of Daniel Lopez assist. Jacob Brown also knocked home his first two goals of the season, while Carter Golden scored on a long shot over the Dade County keeper's head.
Lopez, Alex Holloway and Caden Hinton all had one tally, while Hayden Rainwater picked up an assist in the victory. Rainwater and Pickard each had four saves in net as LaFayette moved to 2-0 on the season.

It was also a bit of deja vu for the Lady Ramblers, who finished up in a scoreless tie with the Lady Wolverines after a 1-1 draw in the first matchup.
Laney Rayburn had five saves for LaFayette (0-0-2), while Rebecca Scoggins, Janie Pickard, Cecilia Forester and Alli Peterson were defensive standouts. Kira Crowe, Natalie Horn and Jenna Baker were praised for their offensive hustle.
Heritage boys 6, Trion 0
The Generals (1-0) finally got their season underway on Monday as they got two goals from Caedon Stafford in a shutout victory over the Bulldogs in Boynton.
Alex Bedwell, Sean Knowles, Josiah Cook and Anderson Britton also scored solo goals, while the defense was led by Ayden Carpenter and Joseph Lyons. Preston McPheters, Braden McGee and Ethan Purple combined for the shutout in goal.
Heritage girls 10, Trion 0
The Lady Generals also scored an impressive win in their opener as eight different players scored, led by a hat trick from Bailey Needham, who also added an assist.
McKenna Bialecke scored on a penalty kick, while Heritage's other goals were tallied by Sandy Burton, Molly Cason, Alana Ducker, Brooke Fairchild, Emma Tennyson and Mady Terry. Ducker, Abbey Bradford and Emma Walther also added assists.
Keeper Jordan Leonard got the shutout in goal, while the Lady Generals got solid defensive play from Cason, Terry, Walther, Allie Boyd, Lindsay Davies, Sydney Lane, Lily Langston and Addison Needham.
Ringgold boys 2, Saddle Ridge 0
Two late second-half goals gave homestanding gave the Tigers (1-0) a shutout victory over the Mustangs (1-1) in their season-opener on Monday.
Easton Wade scored both goal for the Tigers with assists coming from Ajack Dau and Conner Friddell. Keeper Drew Comley had four saves on the night.
Ringgold girls 2, Saddle Ridge 0
The Lady Tigers also won their first match of the season as Joanna Medlin scored once and added an assist for Ringgold (1-0). Ava Raby recorded the shutout in goal.
Saddle Ridge fell to 1-1 on the season.
Lakeview boys 10, Rossville 0
The Warriors won their opener Monday evening, while handing the Bulldogs a loss in the first match of the season for both teams.
Stivan Galicia and Jalen Glover had two goals each for Lakeview (1-0), while Zach Heinrich, Jacob Sloan, Bryson Sullivan, Al Hastic, Domingo Marroquin ad Cooper Kirk all found the back of the net once.
Kirk dished out two assists, while Galicia, Marroquin and Glover all had one assist. Kirk, Hastic, Jayce Yunyong and McKenzy Kimball were praised for their defensive efforts.
Lakeview girls 10, Rossville 0
Rachel Lopez and Astrid Cantrell had two goals, while Emma Leverrett had a goal and three assists in the Lady Warriors' win.
Piper Piatt, Makeena Redmond, Anesa Merdzo, Katelyn Bowman and Chloe Reile al scored once with Cantrell adding an assist. Lopez and Redmond were defensive standouts for Lakeview (1-0).
