The Oakwood Christian Middle School Eagles are now 5-0 after an 8-2 win over Boyd-Buchanan in Chickamauga on Monday night, their second win over the Buccaneers this season.
Tomo Gilchrist had a hat trick and Hunter Hickman scored twice as OCA built a 5-2 lead at intermission. Isaiah Staven and Price Ray each netted a goal in the victory.
Despite the perfect record, head coach Tony Vona said the team still has "a long way to go".
"Our team continues to improve and it's exciting to see the whole team put in time on the field," he said. "Our success is because of the grace of God and a complete team effort."
The Eagles will play at home again on Tuesday at 4:15 p.m. against Silverdale Baptist Academy.
