The Ringgold Lady Tigers led by just three points at halftime on Thursday, but poured it on in the second half to claim a 43-23 win over Trion.

Baileigh Pitts scored 18 points to pace Ringgold. Drew Burke and Taylor Layne had seven points each. Addi Broome finished with five points, followed by Emily Love with four and Sydney Cantrell with two.

In the boys' game, the Tigers picked up a 47-17 win over the Bulldogs. Individual scoring was not provided as of press time.

Annabel Hill scored 16 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, while Dasia Watkins had 13 points, 10 rebounds and eight steals in Chattanooga Valley's 38-22 win over LaFayette.

Lexie Young had four points in the win. Jenna Morgan and Halie Thompson each had two points while Colleen Thomas added one. Morgan also collected eight steals. Madison Bowman had nine rebounds and Asia Silmon had seven assists and five steals.

In the boys' game, the Ramblers stayed unbeaten in NGAC play with a 55-43 win over the Eagles. Jalen Ramsey had 21 points, seven rebounds, five assists and three steals. Aidan Hadaway had 11 points, four rebounds and two assist, while Junior Barber had 12 points, three rebounds, two assists and one steal in the victory.

Cade Fisher added eight points, six rebounds, four assists and two steals. Kobe Weaver had two points, a steal and six boards, while Grant Langford had one point to go with four rebounds, three assists and a steal.

Lamarcus Bailey had 12 points for the Eagles, followed by Kyan Clark and Izaac Bryant with six. Eight of the nine players for Chattanooga Valley got in the scoring column and Amarreon Turner was cited for his defensive efforts.

The Gordon Lee boys trailed 17-13 at halftime, but battled back and held off upset-minded Saddle Ridge, 38-35. Garren Ramey led the way with 14 points for the Trojans. Brodie Genter Jenner finished with nine points. Holt Roberts had six. Kade Cowan and Curtis Wells each finished with four points and Carter Platt dropped in one.

Saddle Ridge got 13 points, nine rebounds and three steals from Brady Mullaly, while Braeden Holland had 11 points to go with four rebounds, three steals and two assists. Teddy Ownby finished with seven points and Nick Green rounded out the scoring effort with four points to go with six boards. Will Snider collected five rebounds, while Kevin Kremb pulled down three.

The girls' game was also a tight battle that saw the Lady Trojans prevail, 34-28, after taking a 19-9 lead at intermission.

Mykeria Johnson had two 3-pointers and led the way for the Lady Mustangs with 12 points. She also had six steals, five rebounds and three blocks. FanTasja Barber also connected on two threes and finished with 10 points, two boards and a steal.

Samantha Cramer had two points, but nine rebounds. Lexi Baker had two points, three boards and three steals. Vianca Segarra scored two points and grabbed one rebound, while Haven Yancy finished with eight rebounds.

In JV boys' action, the Mustangs lost to the Trojans by a count of 46-18.

Cole Spears had a team-high 10 points for Saddle Ridge, followed by Jaiden Smith with five and Marvin Johnson three.

The Heritage boys kept rolling with a 63-38 home win over Rossville.

The Generals led 30-11 at the break and never looked back as Kaden Swope had 14 points, six rebounds, two assists and a steal. Marcus Fortson also had 14 points to go with three rebounds, three assists and three steals, while Collin Swearingin added nine points, five assists, two blocks and one board.
