The Rossville Bulldogs outscored Gordon Lee 17-9 in the third quarter on Tuesday and held on for a 37-35 home victory over the Trojans.
Zack Harrison led all scores with 21 points for Rossville (3-5). Chris Maddeaux had eight points and four steals. Zion Irwin pulled down seven rebounds and Mike Carpenter had five boards in the winning effort.
Garren Ramey had nine points for Gordon Lee (2-7). Nate Dunfee added seven points and seven rebounds, while Kade Cowan scored six points.
In the girls' game, the Lady Trojans (6-2) jumped out to a 20-6 lead after the first quarter of play and went on to a 46-14 victory in the final game before the Christmas break.
Macy Sharp had 10 points in the win. Emma Phillips added nine points, followed by Kaitlyn Wagoner with seven, Emma McGraw with six and Skye Alexander with five, while Carly Deck and Asia Lanham had four points apiece.
Jada Awala and Hannah Dodd each had four points for Rossville (0-7). Cady Crawford, McKenzie Miller and Allyson Morris had two points apiece.
