Trion Middle School and Trion High School will serve as dual sites for the 2018 North Georgia Athletic Conference basketball tournament, which gets underway on Saturday.

The first round of the girls' tournament will see the host Lady Bulldogs face their counterparts from Rossville at 10 a.m. LaFayette and Chattanooga Valley will play at 11:15, followed by a 12:30 p.m. game between Heritage and Lakeview. Gordon Lee and Saddle Ridge will close things out at 1:45 p.m. All four games will be played at Trion High School.

The Ringgold Lady Tigers will play their first game of the tournament Monday at 4:30 p.m. against the LaFayette-Chattanooga Valley winner, while Dade will play at 5:45 that night against either Trion or Rossville. Those games will also be played at Trion High School.

On the boys' side, Trion and Gordon Lee will kick off the tournament at 10 a.m. on Saturday, followed by the Saddle Ridge-Chattanooga Valley game at 11:15. Ringgold and Dade will square off at 12:30 p.m. and the afternoon will conclude with a game between Heritage and Rossville at 1:45. Those games will all be played at Trion Middle School.

On Monday, also at Trion Middle School, LaFayette will play at 4:30 p.m. against either Saddle Ridge or Chattanooga Valley, while Lakeview will take on either Trion or Gordon Lee at 5:45.

The remainder of the tournament will be played at Trion Middle School. The girls' semifinals will be held Tuesday at 4:30 and 5:45, while boys' semifinal games will be played on Wednesday at 4:30 and 5:45.

The championship games will both be played on Thursday. The girls' title game will tip off at 4:30, followed by the boys' game at approximately 6 p.m.
