Both the LaFayette Ramblers and the Ringgold Lady Tigers are still perfect in NGAC play headed into the Christmas break.

LaFayette is 8-0 and atop the NGAC's East Division boys' standings. Heritage (7-1) is second, followed by Ringgold (5-3), Trion (2-6) and Saddle Ridge (0-8).

In the West, Lakeview (6-2) had a half-game lead over Dade County (5-2). Gordon Lee and Chattanooga Valley are both 2-6, while Rossville is 2-5 in conference games. Dade and Rossville are a game behind due to a postponement. They are scheduled to make up the game on Jan. 13.

The Ringgold girls (8-0) are a game clear of Heritage (7-1) in the East. Trion (3-5) is third, followed by Saddle Ridge (2-6) and LaFayette (1-7).

And in the West, Dade (6-1) is a half-game up on Gordon Lee (6-2), followed by Lakeview (4-4), Chattanooga Valley (2-6) and Rossville (0-7).
